The location was wonderful, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Richard Strauss Institute. Further, it was next to local restaurants, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, and the center of the main street for Partenkirchen.

Recently renovated and high-class hotel with absolutely superb view of mountains poolside. Thanks to the attentive staff everything was lovely, including a wide range ofgood food. Perfect location, absolutely fantastic breakfast with a wide range of food.

Great pool, parking off site. Location short walk to the mountains, the city centre of Partenkirchen, and the historic Ludwigstrasse shopping strip which is fantastic and peaceful away from the bustle of the Garmisch main centre.

We had an amazing value for our money at Atlas Grand. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a great view of the surrounding mountains. The location in the charming old town was perfect for evening strolls and dining at nearby restaurants. The staff treated us with exceptional kindness and provided helpful tips for exploring the area.

Food for breakfast could have been better if there were more options for dietary restrictions.

Staff were very friendly, Rita on the front desk exceptionally helpful in recommending restaurants and organising transport. Splendid mountain views from our large balcony. Rooms were large, with bathtub, but the dark wood panelling which is a charming feature of the older traditional Bavarian style makes it hard to read. Excellent breakfast buffet , in the Bavarian hunting-lodge style dining room. A nice touch was a daily 'newspaper' at breakfast, printed A4 with local weather and world news, in German or English. Very good value during renovations.

The restaurant was closed for dinner for a few months' renovations, but there are plenty of nearby restaurants. Close to the bus, but a little far from the station with luggage.

All in all they offer excellent service. The rooms are updated and reasonably large, with satellite TV, central heating and a personal safe.

Location right by a great restaurant around the corner to the left as well as resturants. Reasonably large rooms with exceptionally comfortable beds and wake-up service.

Overall had perfectly pleasant stay on vacation. The room I stayed in was very traditional and huge with mountain views. The location was great and stunning in the beautiful area. A Christmas market and a market were right next door.

the hotel in garmisch-partenkirchen was a pleasant surprise - felt like a historic lodge. friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and beautiful surroundings. exceeded expectations.

We liked the hotel very much I've stayed there before the upgrade. We were very comfortable and the hotel gave good value.

We didn't think the hotel warrants four stars, three would be more appropriate.
